Nalanda College of Agriculture is one of the Nalanda Group of Institutions. It started in accordance with GO (MS) 173 of Agriculture (AU) Dept Dt: 23.06.2016. It is an affiliated college of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore as per the reference .No.E1/New Affiliated Colleges/SST/2016 dated 26.02.2016 of the Registrar ,TNAU,Coimbatore. The Agricultural College started from July 2016 with the admission strength of 60 students initially.

The main college building is situated at M.R.Palayam on the Trichy to Chennai (NH 45) Road, 30 km away from Trichy City. Frequent buses and share autos are available from Trichy, where all the needed commodities can be acquired.
